The Salvation Army kicked off the Annual Red Kettle Campaign at the Blaine House in Augusta.

We all know how much good the Capital Region Salvation Army does in the central Maine community, when you see a Red Kettle put in some cash. AND if you have the time, ring the bell.  Unless the kettles are out, they are not collecting those funds.

Now, if you are like me. I NEVER have cash. The Salvation Army does have an online Red Kettle.  It will give you donations to the Salvation Army for your area, based on your zip code.  If you would like to make a donation to a different location other than your local Salvation Army, you can do that as well.

Any way you do it…on line donation, in person, ringing a bell and name off an Angel Tree at the Marketplace@Augusta, you are helping out….and I say ‘thank you’ for that!
