SUV With Porta-Potty on The Roof Seen Driving in Central Maine

It's another one of those articles that you can file away under #onlyinMaine. My biggest regret here is that I didn't see this photo earlier. As you can see, the leaves are green and still on the trees and people are driving with their windows down.

How I missed this one over the summer is absolutely beyond me, but I'm so glad I went digging through our archived messages and came across it.

This came into us from Maryann with the caption, this is another one for Only in Maine. My friend, Katie and I saw it on KMD in Waterville last summer.

Of course I really don't need to describe to you what you're seeing, right? Well just in case you can't figure it out, this is a Mitsubishi SUV with a porta-potty ratchet-strapped to the roof in downtown Oakland, Maine.

We're not sure if this guy is headed to some remote camping spot, a contractor gig, or just has incredibly irritable bowels. No matter the reason, we're super-proud that we have another photo to show out-of-staters that really captures our 'Maine essence'.
