According to a press release from the Augusta Police Department, human remains found off Edison Drive in Augusta in November have been identified as those of a middle aged man missing since 2017.

On November 13th of 2021, a bow hunter led police to human remains.  Those remains have now been identified as Scott A. Milliken, who was 54 when he went missing in March of 2017.

The press release did not indicate a cause of death or how police think he ended up in the wooded area adjacent to Edison Drive.
