A popular Auburn restaurant is closed for the time being after it was crashed into on Sunday morning.

According to WMTW, just before 5 AM on Sunday, an alleged drunk driver crashed her SUV into the building that houses Roy's All Steak Hamburgers.

While there was a employee in the building when the crash happened, no one was hurt in the incident.

The driver, 20 year old Sandra Kamuhinda, of Falmouth, has been charged with operating under the influence.

A post on their Facebook page says, in part:

We are heart broken to post that Roy’s All Steak Hamburgers is now CLOSED until further notice. There is a lot more structural damage to the building than what is pictured here. We will not be able to open today, we are unsure how long we will be closed. We will post updates as we have them. Thank you everyone.

We are glad to hear that no one was injured and wish them the best of luck in getting the repairs done soon.

The owners of the restaurant hope to re-open on Wednesday, December 8th, if contractors are able to get the bulk of the damage repaired.

The establishment is well known for their great American food.  Hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fish sandwiches, haddock baskets, nuggets, fries, etc.
