Several fire departments were called to a home on Bartlett road in Sidney Thursday evening.

According to WABI nobody was home at the time but two cats are unaccounted for. The owner of the property is staying with family.

According to Sidney fire chief, Richard Jendreau, "It's hard to get to because everything collapsed in on the first floor so we have multiple layers of lumber that we to get through to try to get the fire out from underneath."

The state fire marshal's office will be investigating the fire.
