Let's face it, trying to find a place to live in the current market can be an absolute nightmare. Especially for people that require something more than a basic one-bedroom apartment.

Luckily, we've noticed some larger and comparably more affordable units beginning to hit the market all around Central Maine. And, believe it or not, we're seeing most of these listing through places like the Facebook Marketplace and Kennebec Swap & Sell.

That's where we just found this hidden gem. This newly renovated apartment is a spacious 2 bedroom 1 bathroom unit complete with hardwood floors, tons of counter space and all the charm in the world. Laundry hookups are also available in this unit.

According to the person who listed the apartment,

High street is a beautiful area. It is a short drive away from Colby College, Thomas College, KVCC, Sappi, Redington Fairview, and Inland Hospital. The building is located across from the Fairfield History House. If you are looking for a nice location that isn’t too busy, this is the right apartment for you.

In addition to heat, they also cover water, sewer and lawn care as well. Total move in costs will be $2,700 as the first months rent ($1,350) and a security deposit of the same amount are due at signing. They go on to say that pets will be considered on a case by case basis for an added fee.
