Puppies Exploring An Aquarium Is Great Quarantine Therapy

Some adorable, adoptable puppers from the Atlanta Humane Society took a field trip to the Georgia Aquarium while it was shut down due to COVID-19.

The pups had an exciting day of meeting new friends, sprinting, snacking and napping by the shark exhibit. Their quarantine therapy is my quarantine therapy.

The Atlanta Humane Society is a no-kill facility that receives no government support, they rely soley on community support. In an effort to raise some much needed funds, they came up with a very clever idea; the Cutest Self-Quarantined Pet Contest.

This is such a terrific idea. My pets have been keeping us all sane while we are unable to visit with friends and family.

Your pet's entry and any votes received on your pet's page are tax-deductible donations that will go right to work helping to care for the animals at the Atlanta Humane Society during this time.

Sweet contest and I love Alton Brown. I might just enter our Samoyed, Verushka.

The site also offered important information about pets and COVID-19 because pet people worry about whether they can get their pets sick and vice versa. According to the A.H.S. there is no evidence that pets can contract COVID-19 or spread the disease.
