Portland's Ryan Flaherty had a MLB day to remember at Fenway Park in Wednesday's 10-6 over the Red Sox. The Baltimore shortstop had his first four hit game in a big league game. The former Deering High School star had three singles and a double, he also had two RBI and scored a run.

Flaherty played his high school and Legion baseball in Maine. He played college ball at Vanderbilt.

Ryan's father, Ed, is the longtime coach of USM baseball.
