In a press release from Shannon Moss at the Maine Department of Public Safety, a teenager from Maine is dead following a motorcycle crash on Wednesday evening.

The press release indicated that Maine State Troopers responded to a car vs motorcycle crash on Champion Street in Lebanon, Maine at around 7:30 Wednesday evening.

Police say that Nathan Parker, 19 of Lebanon, was driving his motorcycle northbound on Champion Street at a high rate of speed.

As the teen came around a corner, he drifted over in the oncoming lane and struck an oncoming Chevrolet Impala. Police say that Parker didn't survive the crash.

State Police say that the driver of the car and her passengers, which were children, were not injured in the crash.

Maine State Police continue to investigate the crash.
