Lindsay Ball of Benton Heading to Sochi for the Paralympics

A big tip o' the Moose antlers to Lindsay Ball! She's from Benton and is a recent grad from the University of Maine at Farmington. Lindsay was born visually impaired and is preparing to head to Sochi as a member of the U.S. Paralympic Alpine Skiing Team. She will compete in the giant slalom.

The competition gets underway on March 16.

Lindsay started skiing when she was 6 and has won several competitions including the bronze medal in the 2012 Alpine Skiing World Cup Women’s Giant Slalom Visually Impaired race.
