One of the cool things about living in Maine is that, if you love the outdoors, we have fun things to do all year long.  Hiking, camping, boating, and beaches in the spring, summer, and fall.  Snowmobiling, skiing / boarding, snowshoeing, and ice fishing in the winter.

If you've always wanted to get your family into skiing and riding, one of the best places for them to learn is Farmington's Titcomb Mountain.

According to Only In Your State, the 750 mountain has 16 alpine trails across all difficulty levels.  For more advanced skiers and riders, there's a terrain park, too.

If you don't have equipment, they do have a rental shop on site.

They may not have the facilities that some of the bigger mountains have, but they make up for that by being affordable for the average family!  Compared to many mountains in Maine, New Hampshire, or Vermont, lift ticket rates are INCREDIBLY reasonable.  You can ski weekday afternoons for $10, and a full day weekend T-Bar lift ticket for any age is only $24!

If you love to ski and board, it is probably worth looking into a season pass.  Get all the details HERE

And, kids 5 and under and seniors 70 and over ski free!
