Fort Kent's Austin Theriault makes his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut this weekend at Iowa Speedway in front of ESPN cameras. Not bad for the 20-year-old from Aroostook County. Theriault has been racing at various levels since he was 13. He has signed a 3-race deal to drive for Dale Earnhardt Jr's Nationwide Series team. He will drive the #5 Chevy Camaro at the Iowa race. Later in the summer, he'll race at Louden, New Hampshire and in Kentucky for the Earnhardt team. This series of NASCAR is kind of like what triple-A baseball is to the majors.

Watch Theriault below, earlier this week on ESPN's NASCAR show. The interviewer was Maine's Ricky Craven.
