Augusta DHHS Building Gets Deep Clean Following COVID-19 Test

According to WMTW, the Department of Health and Human Services building on Water Street in Augusta has been "deep-cleaned".

The cleaning, which took place on Saturday, was ordered after a vendor who had business in the building tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus.

The vendor visited the building last Tuesday.  Employees who could have come in contact with the person have been notified.

The building, which is normally closed on the weekends, will re-open on Monday (April 27th).
