28-Year-Old Man Drowns in Maine Lake on Monday
A 28-year-old man is dead following a tragic incident that occurred on Monday at Rich Memorial Beach in Standish, Maine.
According to WGME 13, the incident happened when Harrison Gould, 28, was swimming in Sebago Lake on Monday in about four feet of water when he went under and never resurfaced.
WGME says that Gould was pulled from the water up onto the beach where multiple nurses who were at the beach began to perform CPR.
After first responders arrived on scene, they took over life-saving efforts, sadly to no avail.
WGME reports that investigators believe Gould possibly sustained a medical event while in the water which ultimately led to his drowning.
