Take in Beautiful Maine Foliage High Above Moosehead Lake
For decades, Currier's Flying Service has flow Mainers and folks from away high above the picturesque landscape of Moosehead Lake. If you haven't, or even if you have, had the chance to do this before, you're quickly running out of time for the season.
According to reports, that region of Maine is currently experiencing 'peak' foliage. And we all know that peak foliage doesn't last long before those once beautifully colored leaves come floating slowly down to the ground in their new and permanent shade of brown.
Though the owner of Currier's Flying Service, Roger Currier, passed away this spring of bone cancer, his wife and chief pilot have continues to carry out his legacy. According to their website, flights start at just $45 a person for a short flight over the local area.
The planes depart Moosehead Lake's West Cove and will fly you anywhere from just over Greenville to Lobster Lake, Mount Katahdin, Mt. Kineo, North Bay and more. But don't take our word about how incredible this is, do it for yourself before the season is over!
