DID you see the moon?? It is a big plump full moon. To be all official, it will be full on full moon at 4:28am Tuesday December 17th.  This moon is call the Full Cold Moon or the Long Nights Moon, both good names for the December full moon.

The 2013 Farmers' Almanac came out last week and the weather looks cold and snowy for this winter.  But the Almanac is so much more than that!  Editor Peter Geiger of Lewiston  knows more than anyone that many people, not just old-timers, rely on the Almanac for everything from planting crops to planning weddings!
