According to a press release from the college, the University of Maine at Farmington has been named one of the best colleges in the country in several categories.

The survey, conducted by U. S. News and World Report, ranked UMF the 2nd best college for veterans, the 3rd best value school, and tied for 8th place (with Colby-Sawyer College).

According to the report, the public college, found in 1864, has an enrollment of approximately 1,700 students.  Known as a great school for people going into the education field, they also offer majors in business, computer science, Earth and environmental science, and more,  Currently, the school's in-state tuition and fees are $9,344. Non-Mainers will pay $19,514 in tuition and fees.

And, it definitely looks like they have a lot of fun there...
