Okay guys, you can imagine my frustration when I just learned tonight that someone from my hometown won more than $3 million dollars and it wasn't me.

Just kidding, I'm totally happy for this guy! Windsor's own Gregory McAllister won the Megabucks Lottery back on October 28th. According to News Center Maine, Gregory won the jackpot by playing the same exact numbers he has been playing for more than 35 years.

He decided to take the cash payout on his winning which, after taxes, left him with a hefty deposit of $1,807,837 in the old bank account. McAllister has worked in Wiscasset as the bar manager of Sarah's Cafe for more than 20 years and, believe it or not, he intends to stick around at his job for awhile. Though he did say he would consider dropping a few shifts a week.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Wiscasset Quik Stop and, because they sold the winning ticket, they get a nice $30,000 kickback from the lottery. The numbers that got Gregory the win? 02-09-16-27-30 and Megaball 05. Congrats Gregory.. And if we ever see you at the bar over at Aunt Gin's, the round better be on you!
