According to WGME, a Bar Harbor man has struck it big in the lottery twice in less than two years.

In December 2017, Peter Alley won $100,000 in the Maine State Lottery.  Last month, he did it again!  This time, however, he walked away with $500,000!

Both wins were from scratch tickets.  The $100,000 from a $5 ticket and the $500,000 from a $20 ticket.  Sounds like a pretty good return on investment!

In addition to being a very lucky lottery winner, Alley is an actual hero!  He was given the Carnegie Hero Fund Commission for saving a man following a truck crash.
