Remember When a Maine 6-Year-Old Took an SUV on a Joyride?
Admittedly, I learned to drive at a really young age, but I don't remember being able to start the car, put it in gear and drive away when I was six years old. For one Maine boy, however, that wasn't the case.
According to a 2021 article from WABI TV 5, a 6-year-old Maine boy was joyriding an SUV on Pleasant Street in Livermore falls on Saturday night before losing control and getting the car stuck between a building and a utility pole.
Reports say the the boy's caregiver had put him to bed around 8 PM on Saturday evening, but that the boy got up shortly after and took the keys to the car. He went outside, hopped in and began driving up and down Pleasant Street. At one point while trying to do a U-turn he got the car stuck between the utility pole and another building.
Fortunately nobody was injured in the incident.
