Iconic Sunflower Pizza Won’t Be At The 2021 Fryeburg Fair
The kickoff to the 2021 Fryeburg Fair is less than a week away. Over the last few months, we have heard about a few changes to this year's fair.
Are you ready for another big change to Maine's Blue Ribbon Classic?
According to a post made on the Fryeburg Fair Facebook page, one of their longtime and highly sought vendors, Sunflower Farms Pizza, will not be back for the 2021 Fryeburg Fair. Vinny Lanavaro, the owner of Sunflower Farms Pizza, has made the difficult decision to forgo this year's fair over health and safety concerns for both his staff and customers.
Good news, though, at this time, Vinney and Sunflower Farms Pizza plan on returning for the 2022 Fryeburg Fair.
Here are a few other changes that you can expect to see at the Fryeburg Fair.
First and foremost, the Fryeburg Fair committee is asking anyone that can buy tickets in advance online, to do so. By purchasing tickets online, will keep lines at the ticket gates to a minimum, which will keep everyone as socially distant as possible.
Another change you can expect to find will be the lack of rentals, including stroller rentals, wheelchair rentals, scooter rentals, and more. So, if you or someone you know is headed to the Fryeburg Fair and normally rent one of those items, they should make other arrangements.
