How Cold Is It Going To Be In Your Town?
While we may not see the brutal cold the Midwest has been dealing with, the next few days are going to be freezing.
According to the National Weather Service:
Augusta and surrounding towns will see a low of 1 degree tonight. That's -11 degrees below with the windchill. Tomorrow, we'll see a high of 12 degrees, but it will feel like -13 degrees with the windchill. Thursday night will see a low of 3 degrees, but that will feel like -11 with the windchill
Lewiston / Auburn will see a low of 0 tonight. That's -12 degrees below with the windchill. Tomorrow, we'll see a high of 12 degrees, but it will feel like -13 degrees with the windchill. Thursday night will see a low of 2 degrees, but that will feel like -9 with the windchill
Farmington will have a low of low of -3 degrees tonight. The high winds with 40 MPH gusts will make it feel like -13 degrees. Tomorrow, we'll see a high of 10 degrees, but it will feel like -14 degrees with the windchill. Thursday night will see a low of 1 degree, but that will feel like -10 with the windchill
Waterville will see a low of 1 degree tonight. That's -11 degrees below with the windchill. Tomorrow, we'll see a high of 12 degrees, but it will feel like -13 degrees with the windchill. Thursday night will see a low of 3 degrees, but that will feel like -11 with the windchill
In addition to the wind and cold, Central Maine will see snow showers, which could be heavy at times, Wednesday night.
