Hallowell Dog Park Meeting Thursday Night

The Hallowell Dog Park at Vaughn Field has some problems.  People are not picking up after their dogs, the planting around the fence need some attention and (in my opinion) the city needs to reconsider putting trash cans back.

The park was closed to use recently by the City of Hallowell. Hopefully this is a chance for the dog park users and city of get on the same page and reopen the park.  it is a small park but a GREAT location.

Thursday night (Sept 19) at 6:30pm there will be a meeting about maintenance at the Hallowell Dog Park.  It is open to the public!  I encourage you to go if you are a Hallowell Dog Park user...resident or not.  The park is open to all so it is all of our responsibilities to take care of it.
