According to a press release from the Augusta Police Department, police are investigating an early Friday (December 18th) robbery that took place at the Circle K convenience store on Eastern Avenue in Augusta.

The employee who reported the alleged robbery said that, at about 3:30 AM, a man entered the store and demanded money.  He is described as being white, about 6 feet tall, wearing a black coat, black pants, black hat, and black mask.

The suspect fled the store before police could arrive.  Fortunately, as we understand it, no one was injured in the incident.
