It's always tough when a pet goes missing, but it's especially tough around the holidays. The Maine Lost Dog Recovery Facebook page has several pets from Central Maine that have gone missing recently. Can you help get these pets back home?

On your next shopping trip, maybe you can consider picking up a few of these items.  Kennebec Valley Humane Society put a plea out on their Facebook page explaining they are critically low on these items.

So this just happened.  We had Frank Coco, owner of the AVEDA Institute, along with Patrick Lomantini in the studio to promote BarkAID.  BarkAID is a benefit where you can get your haircut by Patrick (one of the country's BEST stylists) and proceeds will go to the Kennebec Valley Humane Society.  During the interview, Frank spontaneously volunteered himself for something he might now be regretting

Some UPS employees have set up a Facebook page as a place for them to post pics of the dogs they encounter during their deliveries.

Granted, the weather hasn't been too hot for us...but for this one local cat, he's trying to cool his fluffy self off the best way he knows how.  Can you blame him?  Definitely a 10 on the cuteness scale.
