
Two Maine Restaurants On List Of ‘America’s 50 Best Hot Dogs’
Maine is unique in many ways including the red snapper hot dogs. It sure seems that many from away think they are wicked awesome. Two Maine restaurants made the list on the dailymeal.com's 'America's 50 Best Hot Dogs'!
Simones' Hot Dog Stand at 99 Chesnut Street in Lewiston has been a family-owned restuarant in downtown Lewiston for over 100 years! (Since 1908) Simones' is known for the red snapper hot dogs, friendly service and a place that politicians must campaign at! Simones' came in at #38 on their list.
Flo's in Cape Neddick came in at #15 on their list. Their hot dog with celery salt, mayo and relish is what landed them on this list! Their special relish is also sold in jars. They are only open from 11 to 3 (closed Wednesdays).
