Gov. LePage sent a letter to Skowhegan Savings Bank after Waterville Mayor Nick Isgro left the company. The bank told WTMW Isgro resigned. Three Waterville citizens announced Monday they were starting a process to recall Isgro. All of this is in regard to the Isgro's tweet about David Hogg.
97,000 CMP customers saw their bills increase by at last 50% from December 2017 and February 2018. US News reports that is the number of CMP customers that fit the criteria of "a year-to-year monthly or average daily use increase of 50 percent or more." The PUC is investigating.
Waterville is receiving $570,000 to make improvements on a municipal pool thanks to The Harold Alfond Foundation. US News reports it is part of a larger renovation. The work should be done by next summer.
Police in Bath are searching for a suspect who sprayed graffiti on multiple buildings in downtown Bath. US News reports they have surveillance photos and the investigation continues.
