Mainers filed almost 3,000 new unemployment claims this week; that is the most in one week since early July according to WABI.
There are calls for an investigation of why a Maine farm that, it turns out does not exist, was given $1.2M for the federal Paycheck Protection Program according to WABI.
Maine’s Catholic Diocese is also urging Mainers to get the COVID vaccine; easing some ethical concerns according to centralmaine.com.
