The Nationwide Wings Of Freedom Tour is celebrating its 29th year visiting an average of 110 cities in over 35 states annually. Since its start, millions of people have seen the B-17, B-24 & P-51 display at locations everywhere. The Wings Of Freedom Tour is one of the most extraordinary and unique interactive traveling historical displays of its kind. And September 19th through the 21st you will be able to get up close with these pieces of history.

There will be four WWII planes at the Portland International Jetport, a B-17, one of only 9 in flying condition in the United States, a B-24J Liberator, the only remaining example of its type flying in the World, a B-25, best known for being used in the daring Doolittle raid and a P-51 Mustang which was awarded the prestigious Grand Champion award for restoration.

For just $15, $5 for kids 12 and under, you can tour these planes inside and out. And for a bit more money you can fly in one them. Flights on either the B-17 or B-24 are $450 per person, B-25 flights are $400 per person for a 30 minute ride, P-51 flights are $2,200 for a half hour and $3,200 for a full hour. The Wings Of Freedom Tour will fly in to the Jetport at 2pm on September 19th and will be on display until the 21st. Viewing and touring hours are from 2pm until 4:30 on Wednesday the 19th, then 9:30am through 4:30 on the 20th, and from 9:30am until noon on the 21st.
