Wednesday, nearly 100 people showed up to a town meeting in Randolph in support of the city allowing restaurants to serve alcohol 7 days a week. A few months ago it was reported that Sun Sun could no longer serve alcohol. In as little as 3 weeks they will be able to again. At the meeting, there was 2 questions the voters had to answer:

1. Whether the town should allow the state to issue liquor licenses for sale in restaurants from Monday through Saturday.

2. Whether the town should allow the state to issue liquor licenses for sale in restaurants Sunday as well.

In the end, voters approved both. The new license is expected to go into effect on November first. At which point Sun Sun's owner says he expects to do special offers on customers favorite brands according to CentralMaine.com
