According to Fox News, George H. W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States, has passed away at the age of 94.

George Herbert Walker Bush was born in Milton, MA on June 12th, 1924.  He was born into a wealthy family that was also politically active.  His father was a banker who later became a congressmen for Connecticut.

At the age of 18, he entered the U. S. Navy where he became the youngest combat pilot in World War 2.  He flew 58 combat missions and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and three Air Medals

In 1945, he married his wife Barbara.  Following the war, he attended Yale and then moved to Texas to work in the oil industry.  In addition to being our 41st President, he was Ronald Reagan's Vice President, he spent two terms as a Texas congressman, spent time as the U. S. ambassador to the United Nations, and was the director of the Central Intelligence Agency from 1976 to 1977.

His passing comes just eight months after the death of his wife of 73 years, Barbara
