Maine Resident Being Tested for Coronavirus

According to WABI 5 the Maine CDC has confirmed that a Maine resident is currently undergoing testing for the dangerous coronavirus.

The CDC has not released any information on where in Maine the individual lives but has said the person agreed to stay home until the test results come back.

Maine CDC also said that this person is in no way associated with some of the students at Colby College who had been moved to alternative temporary housing.

Officials say that there are still no confirmed cases in Maine and that risk to the public remains low. Across the United States only 12 others have tested positive. Those 12 people make up 6 different states.
