1. Massachusetts

2. Minnesota

3. Iowa

4. Maine

5. Colorado

Maine has a low female homicide rate, and a very high turnout of female voters.

Maine women are also above average in income and high school graduation expectancy.

Maine also has a high quality of Women’s Hospitals.

On the opposite spectrum, the worst states for women are: Mississsippi and Louisiana.
