Maine Gas Prices Continue To Go Up This week

For the fourth week in a row, gas prices have continued to rise.

According to the price monitoring website Gas Buddy, the average price for a gallon of gas in Maine rose to $2.343, which is up nearly four cents from last weeks average of $2304.

The current national average for gas is $2.283 a gallon.

Once again, the lowest price found in Maine was at the Cumberland Farms store in Wells, which is selling gas at $2.17 a gallon.

The lowest prices locally were found at the Irving Stores at 25 Western Ave and 240 Riverside Drive, both in Augusta, selling gas at $2.27 a gallon.
