Becky Cates, the owner of Heavenly Escapes Therapeutic Massage, is warning other massage therapists about a scam she experienced recently.  Becky didn't fall for it and immediately called this person's bluff.  I hope common sense would caution anyone when it comes to the scenario, but just in case...I'm going to tell you to be cautious.  Here's what happened...

According to Becky's Facebook:

FYI to all my massage therapist friends. The bridesmaid scam is going around again. If you get a text from someone named Mark (650)600-7980,saying he is looking to purchase 3-4 massages for bridesmaids doing a "surprise"dance at his daughter's wedding.Laugh & run away.He ask you to charge your cc for over $3,000, then tells you the driver can't accept cc's.So he wants you to put the $ in the drivers account for him.He offers to tip $100 on top of your rate. It's a scam that sadly has been going on for years. But seriously don't fall for it.Don't give him any info.I called him out on his scam & funny he had no another word to say.He didn't even attempt to deny it

Here are the actual texts as proof that this happened.
