It’s Official! Augusta, Maine Will Soon Have Its Very Own Jersey Mike’s!

Augusta is home to some of the most diverse eateries in the entire state of Maine- and it's about to get even more diverse. For the first time ever, a Jersey Mike's is going to be opening up in the city.

Jersey Mike's says in part on the 'about' portion of their website,

At Jersey Mike’s, we offer a sub above – one that’s measured in more than inches or seconds ‘til served. We carefully consider every aspect of what we do – every slice, every sandwich, every store – we provide our customers with sustenance and substance too.

According to their website, they already have several location in Maine including Bangor, Auburn, Brunswick, Windham and Scarborough. But, there will soon be another Maine location on that list- actually four more.

According to the 'coming soon' portion on the sandwich shop's website, they are currently in the process of opening stores in Saco, Topsham, Westbrook and Augusta, Maine.

Where exactly will the Augusta Jersey Mike's be located? Well, according to their website, they will be opening up shop 'soon' at 197 Civic Center Drive. A quick Google Maps check tells us that is the Marketplace @ Augusta. The company says they'll be opening in Suite 20. We're not sure exactly which spot that it, but rumor has it it might be the former Chipotle location.

While their website doesn't give specific date information about the upcoming grand opening, we do know that it says 'coming soon', the question is just 'how soon?', We will continue to follow this story and provide updates when an opening day is announced for the new Augusta, Maine Jersey Mike's!
