We have a couple old cell phones kicking around our house, I bet you do too. What can we do with them?

Here are a few ideas:

  • As long as you have WiFi the kids can use old phones for playing video games. This comes in handy when you are at their sibling's sporting event that is taking longer than your other kid can stand. Been there.
  • You can use that dinosaur phone as a T.V. remote for Roku and Amazon Fire as long as you have WiFi.
  • Use it to read E-Books. If you're at the beach or lake you will be less stressed about it being around water and sand than you would your "good" phone.
  • Keep it in your car's glove compartment as an emergency 911 phone. Even if it's not connected to a data plan U.S. law requires that all phones are able to call 911. Check it every now and then to make sure it stays charged.
