Just when you thought NBC's 'Hannibal' season 2 might have passed up another serving of promos in advance of its February 28 premiere, the good doctor has whipped up a new bloody batch. Plus, what disturbing crimes will 'LOST' and 'Justified' star Jeremy Davies get up to in his guest spot, and what does 'Arrested Development''s Chris Diamantopoulous have to do with it?

"I have always found the idea of death comforting," says Mads Mikkelsen's titular killer, whose name is splattered all over the new NBC trailer. "The thought that my life could end at any moment frees me." Plenty of disturbing new crimes are glimpsed within the new footage as well, along with that mysterious (and potentially spoilerly) fight between Hannibal and a certain FBI officer.

Elsewhere, we've also picked up a bit of news from TVGuide on the role of 'Justified' Emmy-winner star Jeremy Davies, whose presence was revealed during the recent TCA tour, though sadly not as the elder Verger brother we're so anxious to meet. Instead, Davies will appear in two episodes as Peter Bernardone, an animal rescue worker who becomes the suspect in a bizarre murder case discovered at a stable where he once worked. Recent 'Arrested Development' star and 'Office' troublemaker Diamantopoulos will play Clark Ingram, Peter's longtime social worker, who might just have been a bit too influential in his client's life.

Elsewhere, series creator Bryan Fuller has confirmed Raul Esparza’s return to ‘Hannibal’ season 2 as Dr. Frederick Chilton, while ‘X-Files‘ vet Gillian Anderson will reprise her role as Hannibal’s therapist Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier, as will Eddie Izzard as Dr. Abel Gideon, along with confirmed season 2 roles for ‘Sex and the City’ vet Cynthia Nixon and ‘Homeland‘ player Martin Donovan.

We're anxious to devour the season 2 premiere "Kaiseki," but in the meantime, gorge on the latest trailer above and give us your 'Hannibal' season 2 predictions in the comments!
