According to the KJ, due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, Johnson Hall has cancelled their annual summer waterfront concert series.

The concerts, normally held at Gardiner's Waterfront Park, are free to the public and held on ten Friday nights throughout the summer.

They have come up with an alternate plan for this summer, though.

Instead, this summer, they'll be doing a series of live streamed events.  Starting June 6th, and running through October, Johnson Hall will present two events per month.  On the first Saturday of the month, Johnson Hall’s executive artistic director Mike Miclon will present his spoof of late night talk shows.  Then, in the middle of the month, they'll present the streamed concert of a solo artist or small band.

Once the limitations on gatherings begin to be lifted, they intend to slowly invite an audience to see the performances at Johnson Hall, while still running the live stream.
