The Capital Region Salvation Army and Townsquare Media Augusta-Waterville have had another successful year with Salvation Army Angel Trees!

Believe it or not…we are down to the last week to get your Angel Tree gifts returned to the Capital Region Salvation Army. You can drop off the new, unwrapped gifts to the Salvation Army and I believe they have a Christmas Castle location at the Marketplace in the space next to Subway and Payless shoes.  They are not staffed ALL the time so you may want to check in with the Salvation Army if you are making a special trip or you can arrange a drop off at the office in Augusta or Waterville…they are open to that too!

The dead-line is December 14. Why so early you ask? They need to organize all the gifts and start to distribute the gifts to the families for the holiday in the 18th. This is a big project. The Capital Region Salvation Army is working with over 250 families this holiday season and that works out to about 800 local children.

You can shop using an Angel Tree tag or just shop, shop, shop for gifts for kids of any age. All gifts will go to make the holidays happier for the kiddos.  Even after the deadline passes the Red Kettles will be out until December 24th!
