Pretentiousness is alive and well in the US of A.
Travel + Leisure magazine has created a list of America’s snobbiest cities.
The magazine came up with its list by looking at a slew of factors, including how people rate the attractiveness of people in town and the number of food trucks. Travel + Leisure also took into account cities that have “a reputation for aloof and smarty-pants residents, along with high-end shopping and highbrow cultural offerings like classical music and theater,” as well as tech-savviness, artisanal coffeehouses, and a conspicuous eco-consciousness.”
And what thriving metropolis took top honors? San Francisco, which won points for restaurants, ethnic food options and trendy shops.
