Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much. They were the last people you'd expect to be involved in anything strange or mysterious, because they just didn't hold with such nonsense.

- J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

And that's how Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone begins. The very first sentence of the very first Harry Potter book mentions the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, the aunt and uncle of our favorite boy wizard. That is where Harry lived in his cupboard under the stairs until he was upgraded to a proper bedroom. Number 4 Privet Drive is where Harry received his acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Now, the actual home that portrayed the fictional home of The Dursley's is for sale for a mere $620,000. Of course, the actual address is not Privet Drive. The home is located at Martins Heron, Bracknell, Berkshire.

The home is much more modern today than it looked in the movies. The 3 bedroom house is described by the listing agent as, "Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac location, this detached property has recently undergone complete renovation to an extremely high standard."

Unfortunately, the official listing does not show any photos of the staircase or the cupboard under the stairs where Harry lived.

The letter scene in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone shows the home prior to renovations.
