The Most Popular Halloween Candies in New England for 2019

Now that it's officially fall here in New England, and October begins Tuesday, it's time to start thinking about Halloween.

I have to say that it's definitely one of my favorite holidays of the year. If you love handing out candy, you'll certainly want to know what the crowd pleasers are.

The website Bid-On Equipment compiled Google data to determine the most popular Halloween candy in each of the fifty states.

It's interesting to take a look at which candies the New England states love the most:

Maine: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

New Hampshire: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

Vermont: Tootsie Roll Pops

Massachusetts: Snickers

Connecticut: Kit Kat

Rhode Island: Pretzel M&Ms

Turns out that when it comes to Halloween candy, Maine and New Hampshire are pretty basic. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups won the most states, with twelve. The rest of the New England states got a little creative with their choices.
