Veteran's Day

Veterans Day is tomorrow, November 11th, 2020, and according to an email we received from Connie Hanson, it looks like several churches in Maine's Capital City will be tolling their bells 11 times in honor of all of those who have served. The idea is that the participating Augusta churches will toll their bells at approximately the same time beginning at 11 AM tomorrow and continue for 11 rings...

The Commemorative Plate will be supporting Honor Flight Maine, and be on cruisers throughout the month of November.

Many businesses are offering free meals and deals to thank our veteran's this Friday on Veteran's Day.

Veterans Day is this Friday, November 11th and we have gathered some events going on throughout central Maine. Show your support to our veterans!

On Nov. 11, the United States of America celebrates Veterans Day, set aside to honor all of the country's veterans. But the holiday is not exclusively an American one, countries all over the world also honor their veterans today, and for a very specific reason.

Today (Nov. 11) is Veterans Day, when we're supposed to stop and think about the men and women who've sacrificed to keep us safe. Which is why the timing of this story is pretty amazing.
