It's sold a bajillion copies on its way to earning its richly deserved status as one of rock's most classic LPs, but Fleetwood Mac's 'Rumours' has never been given the full-on orchestral treatment -- until now.

Much has been made of the romantic entanglements that drove Fleetwood Mac to the brink of breaking up in the '70s, but -- as Mick Fleetwood reminded us during a recent interview -- over time, all that water under the bridge has only deepened the band members' fondness for one another.

When Fleetwood Mac announced that they would release only a handful of new songs to coincide with their current tour, some thought it seemed like the act of a band on its last creative legs, grudgingly going into the studio in order to drum up interest in a series of lucrative concerts. The last 35 years of Fleetwood Mac has often been told through the various relationships within the band. But just as it seemed that it was all in the past comes the news that Mick Fleetwood's marriage is breaking up.

Stevie Nicks wasn't kidding when she said 2013 was going to be "the Year of Fleetwood Mac." The group have just kicked off a tour that features the live debut of some new material, and now comes word that the new songs will see official release on an EP the band are set to release.

After another of the extended hiatuses that have defined the latter portion of the band's career, Fleetwood Mac is back. The band is on the road for an extended 2013 tour, the first show of which took place last night (April 4) in Columbus, Ohio.

The long-awaited Stevie Nicks documentary 'In Your Dreams' has finally been scheduled for a theatrical release. The film, which records the making of the Fleetwood Mac singer's solo album by the same title, will debut in more than 50 theaters in North America on April 2.

2012 makes 35 years since Fleetwood Mac released 'Rumours,' and the band plans to celebrate by re-releasing the album as part of box sets that comes loaded with unreleased live tracks and session recordings. Both expanded and deluxe editions of 'Rumours' go on sale Jan. 29.
