Tragic breaking news this morning from Lewiston. According to WMTW, a 13-year-old boy was struck and killed by a pickup truck on Main Street in Lewiston just after 7 this morning.

Two separate car accidents yesterday (Aug. 13) in central Maine, resulted in drivers being stuck in their vehicles. Fortunately, both sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

While the chief's wife, Cathy, along with Sgt. Chris Shaw, were also injured in the two bike crash, it was Bob who was most critically hurt. He sustained a neck injury that has left him partially paralyzed.
