One Nice but Lonely Pepper in Renee’s Garden
OK. I do not really have a green thumb. But I try. This year I tried to grow red pepper again. I don’t care for green ones, so I hoped to save a few dollars by growing my own. NOT!
I paid $2.50 for the plant and I ended up with one pepper. It took all summer and this is it. I also have a cherry tomato plant and hot pepper plant. Two hot pepper and about a cup of cherry tomatoes.
I could have saved that money and gone to the Augusta Farmers Market @ Mill Park and had simply bought myself more in the way of veggies than I grew.
The only thing that grew was a tomatillo plant. It was a lark and it took off. Now, what to do with all these tomatillo’s ? Time for a Pinterest search!
