According to the Lewiston Sun Journal, a Maine middle school student has been suspended following the discovery of an apparent 'kill list' that included the names of both teachers and students.

The Sun Journal reports that the student attends the Bruce M Whittier Middle School in Poland. Last week administrators at the middle school discovered that he had made an apparent 'kill list' on a computer that had been issued to him by the school.

School officials say that they then called in the school resource officer to conduct an investigation along with the principal so that they could determine what the 'severity' of the threat.

The student has been suspended while officials look into the threats made and families of the students and staff members that were found on the list have been notified by school officials.
