The first fairs kicked off the season in July, but there's a variety of ones to hit up through October.

What is the oldest fair in New Hampshire?

Maybe you're heading to the oldest fair in the Granite State. According to the Deerfield Fair's website, the first of its fairs was nearly 150 years ago, in 1876, and was held in the center of town.

Nicknamed "New England's Oldest Family Fair," the website notes that it wasn't until 1950 that the fair became four days.

That's how long it is today, and you can hit up all the days if you want.
