Tegan Stadnyck is a mother of two, a tattoo artist since 1996, and the proud owner of 5 Monkeys Tattoo parlor in Newmarket, New Hampshire. According to their website, they "embody the spirit of freedom, rebellion, and unapologetic authenticity and welcome clients of all ages and experiences."

Something unique that they specialize in at 5 Monkeys is working with breast cancer survivors (or as they refer to them as: THRIVERS!)

After a mastectomy some people choose to get implants but they never have nipples again which is a really jarring thing. Imagine looking down and not seeing a part of your body that you have had since birth. I imagine enduring a cancer diagnosis/treatment messes with ones identity quite a bit. When you finally get to the other side but you look different forever because of it must be a difficult pill to swallow.

Some people choose to fill that space with art and some people choose to get areola and nipple tattoos so it resembles what they once had. The tattoos are 3d and accurately mimic the authentic anatomy of the human body.

Tegan, the owner of 5 Monkeys, is a breast cancer survivor herself so being able to provide this service for her fellow warriors is really meaningful work.

Tegan is writing a book about tattooing nipples for breast cancer patients and  this is where you come in.

She is looking for local nipple models!

The nipple photoshoot will be discreet and you’ll be unrecognizable in these photos and it should take no more than 5 minutes. The photoshoot will take place on Saturday April 19th from 10am - 2pm at 5 Monkeys tattoo.
